As a Calgary Clinical Psychologist, I have spent the past 10 years helping clients determine why they feel the way they do, what they can do differently, and how to sustain changes over time.
My approach to therapy involves understanding your unique circumstances, building a strong and trusting relationship, applying proven interventions and practical solutions to the problems, and using direct feedback to increase awareness of blind spots. It is possible to thrive and not just survive. You don't have to manage everything on your own - I'm here to help.
Effective therapy is more than just a supportive environment and learning new coping strategies.
Truly effective therapy isn't possible unless you have a therapist you trust who can give you direct and honest feedback (in a way you can hear it) and who can challenge you when it is needed.
